What is EYT Teacher Training?
EYT (Evolve Your Teaching) is a comprehensive, high-integrity Pilates training program rooted in the classical method. Developed and led by globally recognized educators, EYT combines the traditional teachings of Joseph Pilates with contemporary anatomy, biomechanics, and modern teaching methodology.
The result? A transformational experience that prepares teachers to lead with excellence, confidence, and authenticity in any studio, wellness setting, or professional environment.

Meet Jessica Spillane: The Visionary Behind EYT
Jessica Spillane is the founder and visionary behind the EYT Teacher Training program. With over 20 years of experience as a studio owner, curriculum designer, and passionate Pilates teacher, Jessica has dedicated her career to enhancing the quality and accessibility of Pilates education. Her journey began with a personal commitment to Pilates, driven by a desire to address significant back issues at a young age. This led her to become a certified Pilates instructor and eventually open her own studio, where she began training others in 2009.
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Jessica launched EYT with the mission to make Pilates teacher training more accessible and achievable. EYT combines online learning, in-person apprenticeships, and live seminars to create a flexible and comprehensive training experience. This innovative approach has allowed EYT to certify almost 1,000 student teachers worldwide, helping them find their voice and style in the Pilates community.

Your Training Path: Start with Mat & Reformer, Then Go Comprehensive
Your Pilates education begins with 300 hour Mat and Reformer training—the foundational building blocks of the classical system. These modules cover movement principles, anatomy, cueing, alignment, and program design. Upon completion, you'll be ready to teach dynamic group classes and private sessions with precision and purpose on the Mat and Reformer.
But for those who want to take their career even further, there’s more.
After completing Mat and Reformer, you have the opportunity—and we highly encourage you—to pursue full comprehensive 500 hour certification (an additional 200 hours).
Comprehensive training includes additional apparatus work on the Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and small props. This advanced level of training positions you as a fully capable, in-demand instructor, qualified to teach the full Pilates system safely and effectively to a wide range of clients—including those with injuries, special conditions, and performance goals.
